P1&2 enjoy their new topic - 'People Who Help Us'

13th Mar 2018

The children in P1&2 have been learning all about the 'Emergency Services'.  The children are looking forward to school visits from the PSNI and the Paramedics (see school calendar).  Play based activities have been centred on developing language and skills associated with the police, nurses, doctors and the fire service.  We hope you enjoy their photographs which show a wide range of enjoyable activities: people who help us jigsaws,  ICT (take the bee-bot to the correct person), puppet show using people who help us puppets, picture lotto, construction (make/build an ambulance, fire engine, ladder, hand-cuffs, etc), writing table (complete a wanted poster), book corner, creative (a collage of the emergency services), water tray (filling hoses & putting out fires) and table top activities (fire equipment and a hospital).  This week we have set up a hairdressers - so if you fancy a blow dry and/or colour - pop in and we'll see if we can fit you in!  The children are looking forward to visiting the local hairdresser next Wednesday (see school calendar).
