From listening to the local news you may be aware that every adult in Northern Ireland is eligible for a £100 pre-paid card as part of the Stormont high street voucher scheme. The intention is to encourage spending at retailers that have been badly affected by the Covid-19 lockdowns. Northern Ireland's high street voucher scheme will open in September and applications will be checked against the latest electoral register.
To receive the £100 high street voucher you must have registered to vote. The electoral register was wiped at the end of June and everyone must reapply. Approximately only 30% of adults have registered online so far. To register online click on the following link: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
This is just a little email to ensure that all of our families are aware of this information and will be able to avail of the £100 high street voucher in September.
