We were invited to take part in this year’s Football tournament organised by Woods Primary School. Lots of different schools took part with all showing fair play and excellent sportsmanship throughout the matches.
Although our results did not reflect the incredible effort and talented skills, we all had a super time and enjoyed the matches. A special mention to JC Stewarts who provided the children with water and also to the Woods Primary School for taking on the organising of such an event.
Although we don't have many photos (Mrs Cunningham and Mr Dillon were too engrossed in the games) we hope you enjoy a little snap shot as it were of the day for us.
I think you'll agree the pupils looked brilliant in the football kit and all turned out with tracksuit bottoms and school jumper. Well done to all with a special mention to James our goalie. This can be a lonely position at times and James from the first kick to the last gave 100%.
