A Busy Week at Tobermore Primary School

6th Sep 2024
Well done to all the children on surviving their first full week back at school!  It has certainly been a busy one.  Thank you to all the teaching and non teaching staff for their hard work this week and making sure the children are well settled and happy in school.  A reminder to parents to return any necessary forms/slips, such as Seesaw consent and data collection forms etc., we appreciate your prompt response with these.  Please do keep an eye on our school calendar via our school website page for details of important events and after school clubs that are due to start.  Lots of children are already signed up for after school football club, drama club and transfer club.  Piano lessons will also be commencing very soon too.  We all thoroughly enjoyed our Nurture in Five programme this week and are looking forward to integrating this into the school day.  Our support staff will also be implementing a RISE programme in school to help children start the day with a positive sense of well being.  Our breakfast club is growing in numbers and we are delighted to see so many children coming along.  Please note it is no longer necessary to fill in a form, just come along and enjoy having your breakfast with your friends. It was great to have Pastor Dundas with us this week reminding us of all things new.  Assembly today continued along this theme reminding the children that a new year brings new challenges, new dreams, new goals, new achievements, however we are not alone ... as our school motto reminds us, 'Together We Learn, Together We Achieve'.
