We had another super visit today from an animal care worker in Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary. Janet came armed with lots of things to show the children and presented a very informative PowerPoint. The children really enjoyed learning all about the work involved at the sanctuary and seeing all the dogs and cats that are currently waiting on their forever homes. The children asked lots of interesting questions and at the end Janet gave them all certificates and key rings. Huge thanks to Janet for coming to our school today and talking to the children in P1-P3 and much appreciation for the great work that animal sanctuaries do on a daily basis, looking after and caring for animals. It was great to hear that lots of the children said they’d love to be volunteers when they grow up. 😉👍
