Today Lauren from the USPCA, a charity dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering in animals, and the advancement of animal welfare, visited the children in P1&P2 to talk about the work they do. The children got to see lots of photos and videos of a wide variety of animals and were amazed at the difference in their appearance after they were cared for by the charity. They talked about the needs of animals and how to care for them. Huge thanks to Lauren for coming along today and bringing lots of informative and engaging resources. The children wanted to ask if anyone would like to donate any animal food items to this charity please send into school and we will make sure they get to the charity.
