As part of our shared learning programme with Glen Primary School, P1&2 took part in a variety of 'knowing me, knowing you' activities. The children were put into groups and each group was given a hand puppet. Each child took turns to wear the hand puppet and share interesting facts about themselves. They were also given teddies to colour in. However, they had to listen very carefully to the questions and then choose the correct colour according to their individual answer. The session ended with lots of activities on 'feelings'. The children were introduced to lots of 'feeling characters' and encouraged to share their personal experiences. A big thank you to Glen Primary School for their very warm welcome and hospitality - the boys and girls enjoyed the juice and yummy biscuits! We can't wait until our next meeting.
