Over the last few weeks the children in Year 6 and Year 7 have been looking at Persuasive Writing with a particular focus on 'Advertising.'
They have studied the various characteristics of advertising and looked at what makes a good advertisement.
Last week they were given the challenge of creating their own advertisement to promote Brussel Sprouts. They planned and thought of some wonderful ideas to complete their poster.
Today they were given some time to complete their posters and they were absolutely fantastic, full of wonderful slogans, pictures and facts.
They were so good, Mr Cheevers went a bought a packet of brussel sprouts at lunch time.
