In cookery club we get to make lots of different things. Jennifer comes in to our club and helps us to learn lots of different recipes. Mrs Smyth helps to assist with our cooking and makes sure we are all doing the right thing.
We have gotten to mix condense milk with biscuits and marshmallows. The mixture was stirred with our hands and felt gooey and lumpy. It was very sticky and hard to wash off our hands.
It was great fun to mix and stir the different ingredients. Some of us got to melt some chocolate on the hobs in a saucepan with a wooden spoon. It was lovely to lick the spoons at the end!
Natasha – It has been lovely licking the spoon at the end.
Abbie – I liked weighing out the butter and using the scales.
Charlie – I enjoyed cutting up the marshmallows.
