Anti-Bullying Week in P1&P2
Today started anti-bullying week across the UK. All the children and staff wore their odd socks to remind everyone that we must celebrate our differences. There was lots of discussion and interactive activities about bullying in our classroom this morning. The theme is ‘one kind word’, so we dropped a small pebble into water and watched how something so little could have a big effect and spread very quickly. The children also got to pick a secret pal for the week. They have to be kind to their secret pal, do and say nice things all week for them and then on Friday each person has to guess who their secret pal was. Perhaps you could help your child think of some things they could do for their secret pal. Furthermore anyone caught being kind can get a Principal’s Award and already Mr Cheevers caught someone in P1&P2! Have a look at the photos to see who it was.
