Christmas Wishes from Tobermore Primary School

17th Dec 2020

On behalf of the Board of Governors and the staff at Tobermore Primary School, I would just like to take this opportunity to wish all our pupils, parents and the local community a very happy and safe Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

This year has provided lots of changes for many obvious reasons, but can I thank everyone for their understanding, patience and support while we as a school have come to terms with the 'new normal.' It has been a challenging time for all involved in Tobermore Primary School, but we have been very lucky to have the continued support and kind messages from our local community to help us over this period.

I would like to pay special mention to all the staff in Tobermore Primary School for their continued hard work, dedication and the care provided to all the children in each classroom. These people have went above and beyond in their role and I am very pleased to have them as part of Tobermore P.S.

In addition, I would like to pay special mention to your children. Since our return to school in late August, our children have adapted superbly to school life. They have continued their learning, had fun and have been a great help ensuring that everyone stays safe in school. I am very proud of all our children and I am sure you are too.

Let's hope that 2021 is filled with happiness and health, and we are able to get back to the 'old normal' as soon as possible.

I look forward to welcoming all our children and staff back to school on Tuesday 5th January for an exciting Term 2, filled with lots of activities.

Take care,

Mr Cheevers.
