The children in Mrs Hawthorne’s class had a great session outside in the beautiful sunshine with Steven, our Sustrans officer. He showed us how to check our bikes correctly and played lots of balancing games. Our favourite was the ‘slow race’.
We had over 30 bikes in our bike shed today and Steven was very impressed. Everyone is doing really well in Our Big Walk and Wheel challenge so keep up the good work. Let’s get active and enjoy this glorious weather. ☀️
Mrs Hawthorne finished the day by taking some of the pupils in Primary 6 & 7 for Cycling Proficiency. They will be completing this course over the next 10 weeks. 🚲
