Well done to our school choir who were placed third at Dungannon Music Festival today. The children enjoyed singing their two pieces and the adjudicator commented on our good dynamic contrasts, engaging facial expressions and nice two-part singing. Following our performance we stopped at McDonald's for lunch- it was very tasty!
A huge thank you to the talented Miss Savage for accompanying us on piano and to Mr Hunter for conducting. As a school we really appreciate the time and effort put in by you both during rehearsals over the past number of weeks.
With this being the first time taking part, all the teachers are very proud of the effort, energy and enthusiasm shown by the children.
Thanks also to the parents for their support and ensuring the children were all well presented.
Well done to Augher Central Primary School, Walker Memorial Primary School who also took part and congratulations to Coagh Primary School who were placed first. We look forward to hearing you all sing again next year!
