The children had great fun this week taking part in lessons relating to Santa's little helpers, the elves. The first was a literacy lesson where children had to write questions to one of Santa's elves. They came up with some very exciting questions, such as "Does Santa ever get cranky?", "What is the most popular toy this year?", "Do you get cold working at the north pole?" and "How many conveyors are there in the workshop?" The children then went on to a numeracy lesson where they used metre sticks and hand spans to estimate the height of Santa's elves- there were lots of laughs during this one! After all their hard work the children were able to play some fun elf games on the interactive whiteboard. I am sure the elves are working overtime at the minute to get ready for the big day!
