'Fruit Bowl' by Paul Cezanne

Our art lesson in class this week was related to our topic of Food. We looked at famous artists who had painted pictures relating to food. The artist that we choose to learn about was Paul Cezanne. He has painted many famous pictures related to fruit. We discussed the painting entitled 'Fruit Bowl.'  We discussed shade, size, and proportions of all the different fruits. The children then all reproduced the painting using pastels. They were all wonderful. Have at look at the fabulous reproductions they created!
