Fun Numeracy Activities in P1 & P2

The children in P1 enjoyed learning how all the animals in ‘Winnie Wagtail’ moved their tails and made up actions for each movement. We then decided to use the tails to explore length. We wanted to find out which animal had the longest tail and which one had the shortest tail? They then had to make a snake from play dough and after that they had to make a shorter one and then a longer one. 😉 The boys and girls in P2 had to make drinks for their pets and make sure they matched them to the correct labels. 😉
