Health Challenge

We were delighted to welcome Amy and Claire from Chest Heart & Stroke to school today.  They completed a workshop on the dangers and effects of smoking to the Primary 7 children and with the Primary 5 & 6 children they looked and talked about healthy eating and living.  The children got to take part in quizzes using a hand held phone device to key in their answer.  They also received information leaflets and workbooks to complete related to their learning session.  Everyone interacted and enjoyed these sessions and learned a lot of valuable information.  We look forward to having the girls back in the next few weeks to complete more health challenge workshops with Primary 5 & 6.
