Today we celebrated International Day of Water (and there was certainly plenty of waterworks 😉😢). Pat McAuley from Water NI came to talk to the children about the importance of water and its value to humankind. The children learned about the water cycle and the process of cleaning water. They had a few giggles about the 3 p’s that are allowed down the toilet. Pat reminded the children of how fortunate we are to have fresh water in comparison to those living in countries were access to water is limited. Huge thanks to Pat for these very informative presentations and for giving each child a reusable water bottle. Thank you too to our student council for organising this event.
