The children in P1&P2 have been busy learning about weight. P1 went shopping and explored what happened to the bag as more items were added. The shopping bag was light at the beginning and heavy at the end. They then searched for items around school and sorted them into hoops labelled heavy and light. P2 used the pan balance to weigh items and find out which one was heavier or lighter. They also had to find items which were about the same.
