On Monday 23rd January our P6/7 class visited St. Patrick's Glen for our final session of the shared performance of the Mid Ulster Schools' Together Project. This session involved working with Joe Loughrin from the Gathering Drum. He taught us different drumming routines and explained where the drums came from. He said that they had different names, made different sounds and looked different. This is like us, we are all different and he said that was great because if we were all the same it would be a very boring world!
Some of our parents from both schools came along to see the talent which we achieved in a short training session. It was great fun and we got some juice and biscuits after the performance. We really enjoyed the MUST project and have met many new friends.
