The children of Tobermore Primary School were treated to a talk about Operation Christmas Child by Beth. Beth explained how to fill a shoe box with the correct items and how the filled shoe boxes help so many boys and girls around the world on Christmas day.
The school target is hopefully one shoe box per family. For this to be achieved would be amazing and help so many children to enjoy that special day in the year.
All the relative information can be found in the accompanying leaflet including what not to pack and the cost of transport for each shoe box.
To make things even easier, Flatpack shoeboxes, called Go Boxes which do not need wrapped, can be purchased from school for 50p. These are great if you are having trouble finding a shoe box or don’t like wrapping!
