P.3, P.4 and P.5 completed a really fun Literacy lesson this week. It all centred round Bob, our school fish. Over the summer Bob went on his holidays to a tank in a nearby hospital. He is now back, with us and we are so glad to see him. The class came up with some wonderful adjectives to describe Bob, some of which included friendly, scaly, bubbly and shy. We then went on to ask questions to Bob. The children came up with some brilliant questions, which included…..Did Bernie our swimming instructor teach you how to swim? Do you like to see Mrs Kelly’s beautiful face first thing in the morning? Why do you like entertaining us by eating stones? What gave you the opportunity to come to our school? We all gathered around to get a photo of Bob. He was a little camera shy at times but we eventually got him in shot.
