Children in P1 and P2 have been learning all about how to look after their pets🐶. Laura the Vet very kindly came to talk to the children about her role in looking after pets and other animals. She told the children what a vet is🥼 and what they do to help animals who are sick😷.
The children loved hearing about her job and had lots of questions to ask her, which we wrote together on Friday. They also loved sharing what they do to look after their own pets.
Laura had lots of equipment with her and explained to the children what each item was and how she used it to care for the animals🩺💉💊.
