P3&4 - Our Stranger Danger, Road Safety Visit.
Our class were very lucky to have a visit from Shona our local community police officer to our classroom on Friday. She gave us all some wonderful information on how to stay safe when crossing our busy roads. She talked about all the safe places to cross and the names and descriptions of these crossings. She also taught us how to keep ourselves visible in the darker afternoons and mornings. Shona then went on to tell us about the dangers of strangers and what action the children should take if ever approached by a stranger. The class all listened very attentively and answered questions very well. We found out at the end of our session that it was Shona's birthday so we wished her farewell with a lovely song from the class! Thank you very much Shona from all of us.
