P6&7 - Learning in the Sun ☀️

P6&7 have been enjoying the lovely weather, while learning all about scale measurements in Numeracy. 

They created a scale diagram of the playground, using trundle wheels and metre sticks. After this, we used a scaled blueprint of a Viking longship to draw a life-size longship in the playground with chalk. P6/7 enjoyed seeing our topic of ‘Vikings’ come to life as we discussed what life would be like on this boat and how to best use the space for sleeping, storage and sailing. 

We hope this great weather continues as we’ve really enjoyed learning outdoors.
