Important information for P7 pupils - change to the notification date of Post Primary placements
Originally post primary schools and the Education Authority had planned to inform P7 parents of their child's post primary placement on Saturday 30th May. The Education Authority today has taken the decision to prepare and issue notification of post primary placement letters on behalf of schools to parents/guardians for receipt on Thursday 4th June 2020.
The letter will provide: the application outcome, information on the appeals process and link to the EA website for more information.
As all post is a little slower than normal and in the event of letter not arriving in time from the Education Authority, our parents can contact Mr Cheevers directly on our school telephone number (02879642254) on Thursday 4th June and Friday 5th June to assist with the communication of your post primary placements.
EA will also operate a helpdesk from 1pm on Thursday 4th June for parents of pupils whose letter does not arrive in the post.
Letters are not issued by our primary school, they are issued by the Education Authority. We are disappointed that the date has been slightly postponed for our P7 pupils to find out about their post primary placement, but we will continue to support parents in the communication of post primary placements.
