The Rev. Carmen had generously included our school in the Kilcronaghan Parish Church Flower Festival. The festival begins on Friday 19th till Sunday 21st May. The theme is “She did, what?”
The children sang brilliantly and were a credit to both staff and parents as they proudly stood at the front of the church. The actions for the song looked really well and we thank Mrs Speers for her artistic direction.The P7s came together to say a poem, all spoke clearly and loudly with super expression, well done P7s! Mrs Smyth and Mr Dillon were very proud of you all.
It was lovely to see parents up at the church for our performance and also Mrs Hawthorne, who surprised us all. Thank you for your support it was great to see you all there.
The pupils had time to explore the amazing and wonderful displays with the children selecting the ones they liked the best and why.
Everyone at the church were so helpful and made us feel very welcome.
It was a pleasure to take part in such an event and we look forward to more events in the future.
