What an amazing day in Tobermore Primary School celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The children and staff had so much fun taking part in all the activities that were planned. The children started the celebration with a magic show before break. After break the children indulged in some slush puppies, followed by cupcake and shortbread decorating.
There was also some nail painting and face painting taking place, adding to the party atmosphere throughout the day.
We had a ‘Royal Feast’ at lunchtime with our beautifully decorated hall and this was followed by some ice cream from Bigger Ices. After lunch the children continued their celebrations with arts and crafts with some singing and dancing before the children went home.
We also had a special visitor when Queen Elizabeth, popped over for a quick photograph with all the children and staff.
The children all looked amazing, dressed up in their lovely outfits.
A huge thank you to all of our parents for getting the children ready for our celebration today.
Thank you to our PTA for thier kind donation to our Student Council and Eco Commitee to purchase some of the food today.
Thank you to Tobermore Community Projects for their lovely gift for the children, marking the Queen's Jubilee.
Thank you to John our magician who entertained the children this morning. We all had so much fun.
Thank you to Derg Bakes and Cakes for providing the cupcakes and David Anderson for providing shortbread for the children. They were absolutely delicious and the children loved icing and decorating them.
Thank you to all the staff who helped to organise all the events, decorate the school and help the children with all their activities today. You are all amazing and helped make the day such a brilliant success.
A final thank you to the children for taking part in all the activities and being fantastic party guests.
