Dear Parent/Guardian.
When your child is absent from school, it is important the school receives a reason for their absence. In the past we have sent a note home for parents/guardians to complete. This year we have created a link under the Parent section of the website to access an online form to make this easier for parents/guardians to complete.

Following a child’s absence, the following procedures have been put in place to ensure that the safeguarding of all children remains a high priority at Tobermore Primary School.
Please complete the online form 5 days after your child returns to school. Failure to do so will result in the absence being recorded as unauthorised.
If your child is absent you must:
- Contact the school office by 9.30am on the first day of absence and leave a message on the school answer phone.
- Contact the school if the absence is going to be more than 2-3 days.
- Complete the online ‘Absence Note’ on the first day your child returns to school.
