If your child is off school for any reason, a written note explaining the nature of the absence must be completed and returned to school when your child/children come back to school. The following procedures have been put in place to ensure that the safeguarding of all children remains a high priority at Tobermore Primary School.

An Abscene Note can also be requested from your child's teacher.
The note must be completed and returned to school by your child or via email, within 5 days of them coming back to school. Failure to do so will result in the absence being recorded as unauthorised.
Please also note, if your child is absent you must:
- Contact the school office by 9.30am on the first day of absence.
- Contact the school office for any additional information after the first day of absence.
- Complete ‘Absence Note’ on the first day your child returns to school.
