Dear Parent, as part of our Shared Education Programme we are completing a Share the Walk programme of activities starting on Monday 7th March and this will run until the Easter holidays.
There will be 4 weeks of tasks in which the main focus is to encourage our children and parents to travel to school by walking, scooting or cycling.
Children can be left off at various locations in the village and use any of the methods above or indeed other types of transportation to get to school.
Week 1 - Will measure how much activity you complete in 1 week.
Week 2 - Will look at our 5 senses on our journey to school.
Week 3 - Will look at the various ways you can travel to school. children will win points based on how they travel to school.
Week 4 - Will look at you travelling with a member of your family or friends. Again, points will be given for completing this task.
We will be completing tasks each week and sharing our activities with our Shared Education partners, St Columba's Primary School.
We look forward to completing all of these tasks.
