Today P6/7 enjoyed a Sphero workshop at St. Columba's Primary School, led by Matty, who works for W5 outreach. The class enjoyed learning how to code their Sphero to ski through obstacles, as well as drawing patterns with Spheros on the ground. We were so impressed by how much progress pupils made in coding during this task.
Pupils also enjoyed a challenge at the end of the day to test their Sphero progress. Pupils worked in teams to make a bridge which they had to drive their Sphero across. This was very successful and everyone made a working bridge.
Thank you to all the staff at St. Columba's for hosting us, we had an excellent day. We would also like to especially thank Miss Glass and Primary 6, who we really enjoyed working with today. We can't wait for our next activity together!
