Mrs Hawthorne’s class had a great day at Straw on Thursday with Mrs McElhatton’s class. We have been looking at our emotions through the characters from Inside Out 2.
In today’s session the children enjoyed a workshop from Iheart. Jolene gave us lots of tips and ideas on how to keep our minds healthy.
We then went to the computers to create an affirmation poster. The children worked together to create super posters using Adobe.
In the afternoon we released any energy left taking part in a fun gymnastics session with Anna. All the children took part and tried new challenging moves. The buzz in the hall was evident that everyone was having a great time and it was lovely to see the children making new friendships.
We can’t wait to welcome Mrs McElhatton’s class to our school after the Easter holidays.
