Shared Education Internet Safety Night
The Speedwell trust in collaboration with the PSNI received funding from the Mid-Ulster Council’s PCSP partnership to deliver an internet safety workshop to parents. The workshop aimed to provide parents with advice and practical ways to keep themselves and their children safe when going online. We also talked about cyber bulling and on-line scams. The workshop was delivered by Shona Holmes from the PSNI and Stephen Crabbe from Speedwell Trust.
The talk was open to all parents and will begin at 7pm in our partner school Glen Primary School.
The night was more than informative and shed light on a lot of issues which parents are experiencing now due to social media and new apps available.
A big thank you to all of our parents who attended. We look forward to availing of more training nights in the future.
