We had two great days of Sports day. Everything started so well at the playing fields but sadly we can not control the weather and our day was short lived. The few races that we did manage to get through were super and the support at the part that morning was excellent. The kids really enjoyed it. Plan B came into operation and we finished the rest of our races at school the following afternoon.
We would like to thank the parents for their support and understanding with regards to health and safety on the pitch that day after the heavy rain.
The children excelled at the races and Mrs Hawthorne managed to get a super podium for our 1st,2nd and 3rd placed people to celebrate on. Thanks also to Amanda Pickering for taking our pictures.
A special thank you to Draperstown Spar and Tobermore Spar who provided refreshments for our pupils which covered both days. Both businesses have been so good to our school over the years and we really appreciate it.
