As part of our involvement in the Sustrans Active School Travel programme our Sustrans Officer by Richard Farrow is organising two events on Thursday 6th May
Cycling Skills
This session will take place on the school playground and centre on fund skill games, which is aimed at improving coordination, balance and awareness. Pupils need to be able to ride a bike to take part in the session.
All pupils must also have a helmet to take part in the session.
Ditch the Stabilisers @ 2:15pm
In this session your child will be taught skills in order to help them master cycling without their stabilisers. For each child to take part we would ask that 1 parent/carer attend the session to help with their learning.
Places are limited and the school will confirm which time slot to come along to.
