The pupils in Primary 4 & 5 received lots of lovely treats today to keep them busy with their reading.
Firstly they received a little novel which they ordered as part of our World Book Day celebrations earlier this year. They also received a lovely activity book from Colin Tinsley, entitled, The New King.
Rev. Rosie came into assembly and gave each of the boys and girls a beautiful book which has The Gospel of John, from The Holy Bible printed. This is a lovely keepsake for the children and reminds them of all the celebrations we will be having for King Charles’ coronation but most importantly reminding us of God, who is the most important King we should have in our lives.
Rev. Rosie also gave us a very kind invitation to her coronation party at The Rectory with a crown competition to take part in. This sounds like a great day and we hope everyone has lots of fun as we celebrate this memorable occasion in our country. 👑
