The Student Council Take Action
Today the younger members of our student council noticed empty wrappers in the P1 & P2 playground. They wanted to take action and along with the rest of the student council carried out a check of all the play areas in school. The children then decided to have a meeting and discussed what they could do to keep our school grounds free of rubbish. Armed with gloves and a plastic bin bag they collectively gathered all the rubbish and bits of broken toys. Some members used their artistic talents to make very impressive posters. After lunch they visited each classroom and delivered very impressive speeches to remind everyone of the importance of looking after school property and putting their rubbish in the bin. A huge thank you to the members of the student council for being proactive and taking the lead. #Our Children’s Voice
