Another great afternoon of hockey in Tobermore Primary School. Our coach was very impressed with our skills today. We played a super banana warm up game followed by more skills and drills.
Today they focused on push passing with accuracy. We had cones set up like ten pin bowling and had to knock over a cone to eliminate them and win. It all seemed to be going well until our coach asked the children to move four steps backwards. This extra distance caused some balls to go in slightly the wrong direction.
We finished today by playing a scoring game of hockey. The children did really well and remembered all that they have learnt over the last three weeks. Megan and Matthew thanked Rhiannon on behalf of everyone at Tobermore Primary School. Well done to the two pupils for volunteering!
