Whole school attend war memorial service
The children from Tobermore Primary School felt very honoured and humbled to be invited to attend the war memorial for the armistice service. The new memorial in town looks amazing and is an excellent source of local information. The children attended the service wearing their poppies and were fully aware of the reasons behind the day and the importance of the minutes silence at 11 o'clock.
P7 pupils from Kilross and Tobermore spoke very well and Abbie delivered her poem with style and grace on what was a moving and special service.
Mr Dillon laid a wreath made of poppies on behalf of the school.
A massive thank you to Eric for organising such an important event in the town and for allowing the school to play a small part in the service.
