This afternoon primary 3 & 4 focused on books and reading in celebration of World Book Day today. We went to our fabulous reading library and Mrs Hawthorne read some stories. Primary 4 children then paired with a primary 3 pupil to read a story with them. The conversation and questions about the book was lovely to see and hear. After discussion back in class about our favourite book we designed a new cover for our book. We have some budding illustrators in our mist.
We are looking forward to more book day activities tomorrow including our photograph competition. More photographs to follow.
