World Cup - Probability
The pupils in Year 6 and Year 7 have been working really hard understanding Probability over the last week. Today the children worked really hard completing their own World Cup Tournament using 'Probability.'
The children had to organise the group games and then using a die, decide on who was the winner. The results of each group were then added to a table.
The children had lots of discussion about the results that they found and why certain unexpected teams were in the 'Knock Out Stage' of the World Cup.
The children then completed the 'Knock Out Stage' of the World Cup using the same procedures as before. After this they completed the final using another list of instructions.
This lesson was enjoyed by all the children and they had fun discussing their findings.
Well done Year 6 and 7
