Today in P6 and P7 we carried out an experiment to investigate how our stomach works. We discovered that the food is firstly broken up in our mouth by our teeth, salvia and tongue and then it moves down the oesophagus into our stomach where the acid continues to break the food down. We had lots of fun and cannot wait to do more digestive system experiments soon!
