Athletics in Year 6 and Year 7

Today our Year 6 and Year 7 pupils began their '5 Star Athletics' as part of their PE.  The Year 6 children began learning about the skills and techniques needed to complete the 'Standing Long Jump.'

Year 7 took had to work on the 'Seated Soccer Ball Throw.' 

Once the children had practised their discipline, they recorded their results, choose the best score and awarded themselves points.

Over the next few weeks the children will work on other activities to gain an award at the end of the year.
