The children in P1 & P2 have been learning all about people who help us in hospitals. Nurse Miller very kindly came to talk to the children about her job as a district nurse in the community. She told the children what a district nurse is and what they do to help people who are sick. The children loved hearing about her job and had lots of questions to ask her as well as talk about their own experiences. Nurse Miller had lots of equipment with her and explained to the children what each item was and how it was used to help people. Nurse Miller was very impressed with the children’s healthy heart rates and blood pressures. Huge thanks to Nurse Miller for taking the time to come and talk to the boys and girls and for the lovely pencils she gave them!
