Pancake Tuesday

There was great excitement and a lovely smell throughout the school today as all the pupils had the opportunity to help make pancakes for Pancake Tuesday.  Each class took in in turn to go to Mrs Hawthorne's classroom where they got to mix the ingredients and see the pancakes being cooked on the griddle.  Mrs Hawthorne and Miss Murphy were very busy getting the mixture on the griddle while some of the P6 girls were experts in flipping.

Everyone had great fun choosing their toppings and tucking into what they all described as the 'best pancakes ever!'

There should be no excuses later this evening when making pancakes in the house!
