Ulster-Scots Club Session 3

27th Sep 2018

We had a great afternoon in Ulster-Scots Club. Andy came to tell us all about the bag pipes. Where they first originated from and why so many different animals are used for leather to make a bag pipe. Some boys and girls entertained us with dancing and we learnt about the beats in a bar and how to keep the rhythm.

Andy brought three different types of bag pipes with him. For two of them he had to use something called bellows and for another he had to sit down to play it.

Well done to Emma and Aaron for thanking Andy on behalf of everyone at Tobermore for coming and teaching us about the bag pipes. Great job.

Everyone had a fun time and we look forward to next week for Highland dancing. Another super FREE after school club at Tobermore Primary School.
