World Mental Health Day in Primary 4 & 5

The children in Primary 4 & 5 took some time away from school work this afternoon to focus on activities to help us keep a healthy mind. We coloured a picture while listening to some relaxing music. We then went to the carpet and crawled up comfortably as Mrs Hawthorne quietly read a meditation story called ‘Snuggle Time’. The children closed their eyes and went on the journey with the story. Some relaxing music was also being played in the background. The children thoroughly enjoyed their time of relaxing and after the story they said, “that was lovely”. To end our time we went outside for some fresh air and chose an activity to do with our friends.
